Our location has you covered. The Coffeesmith or Caribou Coffee are both a 2-minute bike ride away, making them perfect for your morning commute or a weekend stroll. If you're looking for something a little more mainstream, Starbucks is only a few minutes around the corner.
Where can I stock up on the essentials?
You're right around the corner from Hy-Vee, Fareway, and Aldi for your weekly grocery runs. Plus, the Target at Waukee Towne Center is just a few minutes away!
What is there to do on a Saturday night?
You can catch a show at Vibrant Music Hall or grab a burger and a brew at Mickey's Irish Pub. The nearby Kettlestone area also has popular spots like Central Standard and Home Sweet Cone Ice Cream.
Are there any good spots to get outside?
We're right next to the Trailside Dog Park, so your pup will love the location as much as you do. You can also hop on the local trail system for a scenic run or bike ride!
What kind of entertainment is coming to the area?
The Waukee Towne Center is bringing even more energy to the area with a new amphitheater, ice rink, public lake, and more. It's making this part of Waukee the go-to spot for shopping and community hangouts!
Is 11Fifty on Olson very social?
Absolutely. Our residents mention names, not buzzwords. That's partly because we host events that bring people together, like arts and crafts nights or ice cream socials. If you want to meet your neighbors and feel connected, then our resident events are a great fit for you.
Can I pay rent online?
You bet. Our resident portal is a convenient way for you to pay your rent.
What do you offer in terms of maintenance and service?
Our maintenance team isn’t just friendly — they’re get-the-job-done-on-the-first-visit good. Our on-site team goes through various training throughout the year, including HVAC maintenance and repair, safety procedures, and various technical skills. They’re also available for 24-hour emergency maintenance.
How do I handle maintenance requests?
Our online resident portal makes it easy. You can pay rent and submit maintenance requests from your couch. It's built for convenience, not complication.
What if I have a maintenance emergency after office hours?
Then you can call us at 515-884-5959. Keep in mind that emergencies are reserved for extreme instances, like security issues, no hot water, and no air conditioning during the summer if the thermostat reads over 80 degrees.
Is parking free?
Yep! Parking in our surface lots is free.
Do you have covered parking or garages?
We offer attached garages for an additional monthly fee. Garages are based on availability.
Is 11Fifty on Olson pet-friendly?
Absolutely! Let's face it — a lot of "pet friendly" places should probably be more described as "pet-tolerant." Not us. We welcome both dogs and cats, and we have no breed or weight restrictions for dogs.
Yep, your pittie and boxer are welcome. We do, however, limit it to two pets per home.
What are the pet requirements and fees?
We require PetScreening for dogs and cats. A one-time fee and monthly rent is required, per animal.
Is there a place for my dog to run and play?
There sure is. Although we don't have a pet park on the actual property, Trailside Dog Park is right next door to our community. Waukee residents get a discount on the yearly pass.
11Fifty on Olson is also a sprawling community with sidewalks to take your furbaby on long, leashed walks.
Do you offer short-term leases?
Our standard lease is 12 months, but we get that life happens. Give our team a call and we can talk through your specific needs.
What fees should I expect during the application process and move-in?
Our fees are pretty standard — an application fee, administrative fee, deposit, pet fee (if applicable), security deposit, and first month’s rent. We’ll give you a clear breakdown of everything before you sign so there are no surprises.
Do you have a resident referral program?
We do! We love when neighbors are friends, and what better way to have that than invite your friends to be your neighbors? We'll reward you for helping us build our community. Just stop by the leasing office to get all the details.
Is renter's insurance required?
Yes, we require residents to have renter's insurance. It's a simple way to protect you and your belongings, just in case. If you don't have your own, we can help you get signed up.
Do you offer furnished apartments?
No, so you can make your space your own! And since there's no IKEA nearby to get your dream apartment set up, we can connect you with our partners at CORT for decor and furniture rentals.
